Flotation Technologies Provides Specialized Distributed Buoyancy Modules and Clamps for the OBE Field in West Africa

HOUSTON, TEXAS — November 29th, 2004 — Flotation Technologies, Inc., a global leader in deepwater buoyancy systems, today announced the delivery of specialized Distributed Buoyancy Modules and Clamps to Trafigura for use on the Oil Export lines on the OBE Field, Offshore West Africa. These specialized modules are used to create the required lazy wave, and also hold the three Export lines in the correct configuration relative to one another.

Purchased through Floating Production Systems (FPS), the Distributed Buoyancy Modules and Clamps were delivered ahead of schedule, and have now been successfully installed for use on the Jamestown FPSO.
