Flotec Syntactic Foam

Flotec™ syntactic foam provides the buoyant core of these products, and is produced in our modern, state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Biddeford, Maine. Ongoing research in material science has produced a family of buoyancy materials with an unequaled reputation for subsea performance and reliability. Over the years a broad line of standard products has evolved. Some of these products represent well-engineered solutions to common subsurface buoyancy applications. Others are designed for versatility-allowing customers to adapt a product to unique project requirements.

Custom Solutions

While supplying a broad spectrum of standard products, Flotation Technologies prides itself on its ability to provide custom solutions. Buoyancy products can be designed around instrumentation, equipment, and end-user capabilities. We can build to print, design to your specifications, or manufacture directly from CAD files. We can also take delivery of customer supplied tooling and structures for factory installation of buoyancy materials. From simple to complex, single-piece or modular designs, Flotation Technologies can provide exactly what is needed for an extremely wide variety of applications.
